What do you want to know?
I have to admit it (and you’ll have realised it)… this blog has stalled. I am, however, still keen to learn more about photography and pass on what I pick up… and to learn with others!
So I want to ask for your help. Can you comment and tell me if there’s anything you particularly want to know about photography? What questions do you have? What techniques do you want to try out?
I can’t promise to cover everything, but I’ll certainly do my best. Go on, tell me what you want to know!

Hey,
I’ve got the Canon 550D and picked up 2 lenses with it. An F1.8 50mm Canon lens and another Canon 55-250mm lens (F 4-5.6) IS, both of which I’m happy with.
Just wondering if you could suggest a good lens for close proximity with perhaps a wide angle. I basically want one to take pictures of friends and family etc. in close range. Nothing too expensive. The previous two lenses should give you an indication of how much I would spend on it.

Did you get the kit lens with your 550D? I find the 18-55mm lens I got with my 1000D is pretty good for indoor photography.
If you didn’t get it, you can pick one up from Amazon – check out Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.com. The lens comes in at about £100 or $165
